30th September 2008 Windsurfing: Hayling Wind Direction: Wind Stength: 6-7 Surf / Sea State: Choppy & Messy Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: 14 Weather: Dark and Ominous Max Speed: Distance Covered: Not sailed for weeks - the wind drought has broken perhaps. Working tomorrow in Pompy, so I took the afternoon off. Out as soon as I could at 3:30. No probs. An hour on my UJ decided to detatch from the board. Being over 1m out it was a bit unnerving. Took me a good 15 mins to reattach it, which was ridiculously long. After a rest I was fine. Jumping a bit and riding a bit too. Did one catapult / deliberate loop attempt, which was totaly crap. Then I hurt my left ankle. It is a bit swolen now. Bloke from Sussex had to help me seperate my mast halves. Packed up by torchlight. And round to Dave's for some Southsea fishnchips and a game of tennis on the Wii |
